Beyond the Golden Hour is a Postnatal Planning and Preparation Workshop created to provide you with knowledge, support and resources as you prepare for the arrival of your baby.

The word postpartum comes from the Latin term meaning 'after childbirth'

The fourth trimester is the fourth part of your birthing journey, it is just as important as pregnancy, labour and birth.

Unfortunately it is not always thought about or planned for but it is a very important time where you need to feel truly supported and nurtured whether this is your first or fourth baby.

In my postnatal planning workshop, we delve into the depths of the fourth trimester in detail, recognising it as an intimate and special chapter within the journey for both newborn and parent. Together, we explore how you can intentionally shape your fourth trimester, ensuring it becomes a meaningful chapter that nurtures and strengthens the bond between you and your baby.

During our time together, we will explore a wide array of topics including breastfeeding, sleep, postpartum recovery, support networks and nutrition. Through these discussions, you will gain the knowledge and tools needed to feel confident, excited and well-prepared for the beautiful transition into parenthood. I'll guide you in understanding how to lovingly care for your precious new baby, ensuring you embark on this journey with a sense of empowerment and readiness.

“My partner and I have also attended Amy’s ‘Post Natal Prep Class’ which we both found incredibly informative and helpful as we prepare for our new arrival. We discussed topics such as health and nutrition, breast feeding and ways in which we can support each other on our new adventure!

Amy provided us with a booklet full of things to think about as we approach the ‘fourth trimester’ (which has been really interesting to look through together and made us think about things we hadn’t even considered) as well as a cookbook of recipe ideas (we made the pasta bake and it was delicious!)”
